Palace of Fine Devotion!
Comments OffThe past few months have been very busy for me. Out of a hand full of weddings and photoshoots that seem to never end, there are two important weddings that I wanted to end the year with. So lets start this Christmas Eve with the first one.
After Crave and I finished shooting Sinh and Pranil’s wedding, we wanted to make sure every picture was perfect. As I mention on a previous post, the two lovebirds graduated high school with both of us. We felt honored for them to choose us as their wedding photographers. More importantly, Sinh’s family and I go way back. We were all part of the same volunteer club in high school and share a lot of memories. I’ve also been friends with two of her cousins since the second grade. One of which is my predecessor. With that much history I really didn’t want to let Sinh and Pranil down on their photos.
The wedding was breathtaking. Although we’ve shot several engagements at the Palace of Fine Arts, this would be our first wedding. The Palace never looked more amazing than it did that day. The Exploratorium was a blast. Everyone had a great time. There was something for everyone to enjoy. We left last not because we were working the party, but because we wanted to be part of every that night. Take a look above to experience the enjoyment we had with Sinh and Pranil.
There is still one more week to go and I plan to end the year with the second wedding we’ve been working very hard with. Can’t wait to share it with you!
All-Rounder Love Bagel
Comments OffThese past few months has been one excitement after another. Shooting from maternity sessions to weddings. On Labor Day Weekend, I got a chance to shoot with the newest Party Flicker member. Crave from Photos By Crave has recently joined our team during the summer. The two of us set off for one fantastic engagement session with Winnie and Bryan.
It had to have been the busiest weekend ever in San Francisco. But that didn’t stop the fun for us. After hunting down a parking lot the two lovers jumped in our SUV as we toured the city, destined for our first location. The four of us shared some really hilarious stories along with how they met and one extraodinary night at a club for Bryan. Of course these stories are between the four of us haha =)
After spending the entire afternoon and evening together, we were beat. The four of us could have gone all night. Wait, I think we did spend the entire night hanging out. And we still have a bridge to shoot with. Crave and I can’t wait to shoot with these two tennis junkies soon. Would you like to join us?
Non-Stop Flight To Love!

Exactly one month ago today the, Flicker team and I got ready to shoot Andrea and Steve’s wedding day. What we really loved about their wedding was how the team had to get creative with our photo shots. Last year we photographed Andrea’s sister wedding and although we were at different location, we wanted to avoid any similar photos. It was because of this our entire team had an even better time than expected as we all kept thinking of unique composition for every picture.
We had a lot of fun throughout the entire day. Even the sun decided to join us =) Then when night came, so did the party. And I must say that Steve has skills rocking the microphone. And if that wasn’t enough to keep the party energized, the burger sliders was definately a classy touch I have personally never seen done at a wedding (And I’ve been to well over 200 weddings). Oh yeah, they were that good!
But look at the time. It’s the fourth of July. Not only is it time to eat some spicy ribs, but it’s almost time for some fireworks. Everyone enjoy your Holiday =)
Grapes, Gotts, & Love Intoxication!
Comments OffOne of coolest thing about photographing people you know is knowing their personality. Not so long ago, I had the chance to shoot a very close friend of mine’s engagement session. Knowing the two of them as a couple for a few years now, I had the inside scoop of one of their favorite places to relax and spend time together. In one hour and three burritos we made our destination in Napa Valley.
The session was one of kind. Although they are my friends, the two have never seen me shoot and may have been a little shock at how crazy weird I get when I’m behind my camera. But I still haven’t scared off a client yet (crossing my fingers and camera strap )
After a few hours, some food, and getting hit by kamakazie birds (4 scored 200 points hitting me), our night ended with all of us being happyily beat. Or at least me beat from 4 angry birds :)
One Giant Love Trail
Comments OffThe other week I shot a Giant engagement session. No, not that giant, but Giants fans. Sinh and Pranil are sweet hearts I knew back in high school and both are really big Giant’s fans. So we started our day at the home of the world champions. The day was a perfect day to shoot. We had a great time at the stadium and even met a lovely couple walking their dog.
Shortly after circling the stadium we headed to our next location, where a Giant camera was waiting for us. Not only did we have a great time at that spot, but the wind totally added a nice breeze for our photoshoot. Our shoot may have ended with a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge, but the fun lasted a few hours afterwards =)

Comments OffAfter coming back from a week-long vacation, I found on my door steps some samples I’ve been waiting for. These are not your normal gallery wraps, but art blocks. Art blocks are unique wooden photo slabs with a modern look. But wait, there’s more. As you can see from the last picture the block is floating. Floating art blocks have the same artistic style with a fresh look for being able to have one or more blocks on top of another.
These samples are part of the Blind Sight of Art photography product collections. I’ve decided to showcase them early as I plan to bring these same products to our Party Flicker customers this April. Not only will these artistic displays be available soon, but I have created 10 exclusive Blind Sight of Art designs in various colors.
So if you were looking for a genuine decor for your home, it’s here!
Lip Snogging Couplet
Comments OffI first met Andrea and Steve about a year ago. My assistant and I can definately sence the love in the air. The two seem to bring an atmosphere of romance when you’re around them. For their engagement session, we headed to San Francisco. During our shoot, we learned more about their first date and even passed through memory lane with them. We spent hours shooting around the city with Andrea and Steve. And whats a day in San Francisco without some clam chowder. On us of course. We gotta keep our love birds warm. After all; our shoot may have started in the day, but lasted a few hours before midnight. We can’t wait for their wedding this summer =)
When Art Speaks, My Photos Listen!
Comments OffA little over a year ago, one of my best friends Olivia finished an amazing artwork which can now be seen in the offices of Academy X. Her artwork always inspires me. Her style gives you this really good feeling. In some way it’s sort of electrifying. A few months before the walls were complete I met up with Olivia after a shoot to hang out for some Margaritas. Of course we had a mini shoot before leaving the building.
This week Olivia’s work will be display at The Red Poppy Art House in San Francisco, during an event called “Art and Music for the End of Time.” If you happen to be around Folsom and looking for a great time with art that will blow your mind visually. And music that will astound your ears. Go check it out.
Going off the topic here. I wanted to say Happy Birthday to another one of our best friends. To John Gadue, we wish you a Happy Birthday. We all miss you bro!
Gone with The Photo
Comments OffSo it’s been a few months since I’ve posted on my blog. Where have I been? Where’s all my recent photos? And what’s coming?
Lets start by telling you that I have no stopped photography. In fact I’ve been doing more than ever. But like any other job, there are times when you need a break. So I took one. Where? Hogwarts of course. Some of you may know I’m a pretty big Harry Potter fan, so I took a trip to Florida to check out Universal and DisneyWorld. Since then on I’ve been taking one week of vacation, then a photoshoot, then vacation, then a photoshoot, and vacation. You get the picture. So I haven’t had time to update the blog much. Of course it’s a new year and its time to start posting.
As for my photos, I plan on updating a the sites and posting a few I work I’ve been meaning to post.
If you saw my last post and wondering what’s coming, I’ll tell you. Since September I’ve been working on a putting together a solor service. Although the artwork may seeem somewhat similar to Party Flickers, the service itself is something Party Flickers currently doesn’t offer. I was expecting to lauch sometime during the holidays but I wanted to perfect something I plan to show later. All in all, it’s still in the works.
