A few months back I posted an engagement session of a couple I called Crazy Love Addicts. About a week ago they had a beautiful beach wedding at Half Moon Bay. We spent an entire day with the love addicts and really enjoy hanging with them and their families.
Above is a few art pieaces from that day. You can also check out a slide show we presented to them earlier this week. Maybe I’ll post a few more later after I get a chance to give them their final images.

As spring break finally ended for me, I am going to miss all the fun I had hanging with a few cousins while on vacation. Here’s a few cool shots at a indoor car race track. One thing I learned while on the trip is that I really suck at playing pool =) And another important lesson, don’t leave your high end camera behind haha=)
Just some added pictures below. Yes that’s Disneyland alright. Can’t beat going to the happiest place on eart. I swear the funnest the rides are some of the oldest rides there.
DINNING HIGHLIGHTS: If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland, head to the Celebration Roundup and Barbecue at Big Thunder Ranch. We had a awesome all you can eat lunch. We came on the second day it was open so it wasn’t packed at all. Later that night we notice a huge line. No it wasn’t Indiana Jones Ride, but a chunk load of people waiting for the restaurant. BBQ was definately worth it, the show, and if you look below the awesome desert display…

As some of you may know I just came back from LA not to long ago. While I spent a great deal of time having fun with friends and family, hanging with my god daughter at Disneyland, and topping it off with some Chicken and Waffles. But I also had some photography business with a local rock band.
The Truth Unvailed is a local band in LA I shot for in a project for their album cover. I’m very universal in music and I really digged their music while having a awesome time with the band. I wanted to bring out a little grunge and some edgy look with these two photos, but I’ll also post some of the night shots later which was somewhat difficult for me since I seem to have left some important gear I normally use. But that will be another post…
I’ll also post more on my fun trip later. I’m going to start a new page on my blog called “My Before and After”. Just a cool page to show some of you how an image starts to my final product. I’ll give some feedback on how I edited the images.

As some of you may know my niece took a modeling course not too long ago. She decided to tryout for a local pagent which I believe is next month. To prepare some required material we setout to the California State Capital for some photo shots. During this small shoot I also added my other niece so they could have some sister pictures.
One thing I learned during this shoot is never to believe the weather in March haha=) This day started out with a gust of wind, then a rain storm, followed some hot sunny rays, some more rain, and then sun with rain. Overall it was a great day to shoot. I took about 900 photos that day and kept about 633 of them. Not bad. Editing the artwork was quick using a new toy I bought. Lets just say I love Quikeys=)
Here’s some more below. I’ll add a small slide show later!

So I just realize that I have 3 more seminars, 2 shoots, and a trip to Los Angelas. Just in case I don’t get a chance to blog this month I’d like to get some new artwork online. So as my previous blog stated, here is a few detail shots of the a Cotillion I shot at yesterday. I was in charge of getting the details while my partners did the rest. The one thing I like about getting the details is that I get to have fun and move everything around hahaha j/p =)
Anyways I managed to sneak in my camera a fun shot of the debutant herself and a group shot on the dance floor. They really had a good time. I really need to get the shoes the guys are wearing on the floor. They look so relaxed and comfy and my feet were killing me. Maybe I should be shooting instead of dancing at the party haha=)

Some of you may be wonder where have I’ve been. Well I must tell you that this has been the busiest off season I have ever had. Not only am I traveling around from one seminar to another, but I am also doing shoots in between. Some shoots that I don’t get to do to often, which is so cool. Hopefully I get a chance to share them with all of you.
Here’s a recent shoot of one of my clients. These art pieces where used on an artbook I created for her to use as a guestbook at her Cotillion, which we shot at yesterday. This shoot was extremely fun. The day started a little funny since the whole team took out their cameras and started shooting haha what a way to scare off our model for the day haha=) Of course it only took a minute or two for us to situated and we had a blast. Her Cotillion was just as awesome. I’ll post some shot later. In the meantime, enjoy the weekend!

Welcome everyone to a new year! After saying goodbye to 2008, I got the chance to work with Nam and Richelle at their second wedding. With one of the coldest weekends, it was a beautiful day with lots of sunlight. The lovebirds is a fun couple to shoot with. Not only did we have great time getting our portrait shots in before the sun went down, but we also got to try something new that really showed their personality. Hehehe but that’s something I’m saving for later. Richelle and Nam have a great humor that makes you feel happy. Even Brownstone Garden; where they had their wedding, said for them to come back anytime. So it looks like we may have a third wedding down the future haha=)
I’d though I’d try somthing different. A photographer friend of mine asked me if I still do black and white photos. But of course I do, although I tend to post mostly my colorfull images on my blog. So to break away from my normal routine, here is one of my black and white photo artwork. And for the other photographers reading this, the very bottom picture was taken using a video light at about 20watt being shot from the side as a spot light rather than a flood light. I’ll show you guys how I did this on my workshop that I’ve been working on. If you’re wonder what light I use please read my gear page. Until then enjoy!

I’m keeping it short. Here’s some snap shots I took with friends and family on Christmas. Enjoy the closed captions hehe=)

My brother’s having a boxing match!

“I love presents that are half my size”

“Santa I want to be big” “You need to drink milk like me to get big little boy”

Like mother, like daughter… Enough said!

Photojournalism at its finest. The Picture tells the whole story!

“Hey, you’re cute” “Howwweeee!”

How to thank your brother for his perfect gift to you!

Flashback from High School!

It’s nearly a month since I last posted some artwork. Where have I’ve been this whole time? Well, taking a break. It happens to be my off season for photography, but I’m still preparing for next year. Lots of things to do from updating my gear, finishing up artwork for marketing, and scheduling for next years gigs.
Recently I posted an image of my niece at her modeling showcase. Her teacher asked me to shoot for the show and take some shots of the class. Here’s a few photos I thought I’d share with everyone.
I’ll be heading out to LA next month for a Band Shoot and a few seminars the following month later. I’ll post a few more before the end of the year and possibly finish my gear page I’ve been working on. So until then Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

A few months ago I posted a few pictures of three beautiful ladies. At the time I was asked to keep the identiy of the photoshoot a secret. But as of November 22nd the three had launch their first product and introduce their first product. Introducing Aria Cosemtic Inc.
Their first product is a product called Dream Butter Lip Balm. Below is some information that was provided to me by the company including information on their Dream Butter Lip Balm product. And for an extra threat, click the image above for a short slide show of some candid shots and outtakes of our shoot.
ARIA
Aria Cosmetics is a 100% all-natural cosmetics line founded in the San Francisco Bay Area by three long-time friends: Linda, Olivia, and Kristie. They teamed up to create a new line of products and a brand identity to represent the eco-conscious mindset of the current era, while enhancing natural beauty from the inside out.
For Linda, it all started with a love for makeup and mixing up unique lip gloss concoctions in the kitchen. She noticed a dearth of all-natural cosmetics products on the market, and realized that makeup needed to not only make you look beautiful on the outside, but also enhance health from the inside. Since whatever is applied to the lips eventually gets licked off and ingested, it seemed unhealthy and polluting to use products that are full of chemicals and
preservatives. For Olivia, creating and starting up a new endeavor with health and the environment as a priority was inspiration to bring her artistic insight and strategic skills to the team. With Kristie, makeup aficionada and creative powerhouse, they founded Aria Cosmetics in the spring of 2007. The three joined forces, pooling their talents, setting out to create a line of completely natural products. From nourishing lip balms to super-hydrating lip glosses, all are
handcrafted with care, and void of any chemicals. Aria lip products are made with all-natural, plant-derived ingredients such as aloe, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, and even the sheer pigments in Aria products are 100% natural; pure infusions of minerals from the earth.Aria is for enhancing health and vitality in the purest ways possible, bringing out the beauty from within. Never having to sacrifice femininity and style, Aria remains true to you, and true to the environment. Beautiful and simple, healthy and natural.
Dream Butter Lip Balm
The Dream Butter Lip Balm is an all-natural treat for your lips! This moisturizing balm contains an emollient blend of 100% all-natural, plant-derived butters and oils. Its texture is smooth and creamy, naturally created by the indulgent infusion of organic plant butters and oils that it contains. Shine is minimal but lips appear satiny and dewy upon application of this balm. Not only is this lip treat indulgent, but it is also full of antioxidant powerhouses like cocoa
butter, provitamin B5, and vitamin E, that will provide protection against free radicals and harsh elements in the environment. This is a healthy beauty product that will love and care for the delicate skin of your lips. The Dream Butter Lip Balm comes in a clear formula, as well as an assortment of translucent tints for a naturally ethereal look.
I wish the three beauties the best of luck on their business as it has been a success since their launch date. The Party Flicker Team and I can’t wait to work with Aria in the future!
