It’s been about a year since I posted my last before and after shot of a recent session. This photo was shot during an engagement shoot at the San Francisco Cannery. I love the shot. It was awesome, but the photograph itself had to many distractions. I usually follow a five point rule, where I would look for five things that my eye catches automatically. And if any of them are distracting my main subject then I would fix it or eliminate it from the photo.

After a little less than ten minutes of  patch work, brushing, cloning, overlay, curve control, and some burning, I came out with what you see above.

Although I spent little bit more time than most photos I would edit from a shoot, the outcome was well worth it. I hope you enjoy the before and after work!

The other weekend Francis and I shot part two of Maria and Jerry’s engagement session. They came out fully loaded for us. Maria had this great ideal and I had a spark of another ideal. The outcome of the two was amazing. The day ended with Francis having no tick bites on him and me with no sunburn. How better could the shoot get. Feel free to preview a small slide show by clicking on the images from this post.

PIMPIN: If you need some tattoo work done, check out the East Bay Tatto0 Co. They are owned by brides parents. We love the work. You have to check out the photos of their artists artwork.

While most people took the holiday weekend off, Franny and I shot a few engagement sessions. We met up with a few friends to help us with our shoot. Our soon to be newlyweds were awesome. The bride to be was a schoolmate of mine from several years ago. You know two people are in love when both give the same funny faces when the other isn’t looking during a shot haha =) While shooting my last photo of the day, the two got really got into it. They may not have even notice that we had a crowd of ten tourists watching us…….

After a long day the scooby gang was pretty hungry. I kept hearing about a place called the Original Buffalo Wings all day. Everyone ended up joining us for dinner. Minus the toursits of course. By the time we finished dinner; we lost our sun, but decided to set a date for the next saga of our adventure. There is no way I will ever let a super cool amazing couple lose out on our next location =)

What do you get when you get an extremely in love couple with two wacky photographers? One extremely fun engagement session and too many pictures to choose from. Last weekend, Francis and I took out our two love birds for part one of their engagement session. Yes, part one! We had so much fun, time flew by like lunch time. Although we did learned a valuable lesson this weekend. Never forget to bring a lot of coins for the out of the world parking meter prices in San Francisco.. We can’t wait for part two!

Click on any of the photos in this post for a quick showcase of the session.

Last weekend my family and I rolled out around San Francisco, tour guiding our relatives from the Philippines. Even though I work primarily in the city and shoot a lot of sessions there, I never really get a chance for some simple fun shooting opportunities. I broke away from the normal routine and photographed some pretty cool stuff to have printed.

Yes, now I can hand some prints to my family as they’ve been bugging me for scenic views to place in their homes….. But that’s not all. I’m working on a few more and soon everyone can purchase some wall art to pin up. I’ll keep you posted.. Ping me if you’re interested…

So the other week my friends and I took a Saturday off together and took my godson out to the park. Have you ever watch kids play at a park. They’re extremely lively. Kids know how to have fun. Josiah was no different, going straight for the slides. In the thirty minutes we spent at the park, he slid down those plastic shoots more than I can keep count. The sun even came out to play with us.

Tomorrow is our final Bridal Fair. Come check out our open gallery at the Hotel Sofetel in Redwood City.

Now that the Flicker team has finished our searsonal wedding marketing plan, its time to get back to some fun projects. I headed back to LA to do some shots for the second album cover of the I previously shot last summer. One thing is for sure, LA is not San Francisco. We got kicked out or question a few times during the 2 days we shot. It was actually pretty funny in the end.. All I have to say is: “Thank you college ID”… Sorry, I can’t tell you the name of the album. But I can tell you we’re shooting the final segment of the shoot at one of the coolests spots in Vegas…. Can’t wait til summer.. I am now taking casino donation.. haha j/p =)

Last week had been one extremely busy one for me as I prepare the team for the Bridal Extravaganza, happening next weekend at the Walnut Creek Marriott. We needed to make some adjustments for the bigger booth space so the entire setup went to the ER for a somewhat new look. Come checkout the almost new design, albums, and products this coming weekend.

Earlier this week my family welcomed a new member. On Monday my brother and sister in law (more of my sister in law than my brother), gave birth to Kiera Jay Sarah. Because I was extremely sick for the past two weeks I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures at the hospital, but that didn’t stop me today. Kiera was so peaceful as I took several pictures of her. How much more adorable can you get!

A few weeks back and two posts prior I showcased a loveable couple at the legendary Boneyard. Early this week I finished the design of the album and sent them off to lab for the final production. It’ll be on hand at our open gallery later next month at the Bridal Extravaganza.

I had a lot of fun at this shoot. Although I had a difficult time deciding which images to keep as there was a lot of good photos to choose from. Here’s a couple to look at. You can also see more on the Party Flicker web site.
