Photo Art: The Details of Love!
Comments OffLast weekend, it my job to cover as many details shots as possible during Renae and Damian’s wedding. They were hot, LIKE FIRE! It was also a great wedding with lots of things to shoot. This gave me some creative time with my camera as I knew my partner Francis would take care of the rest. I shot with a lens I haven’t used for some time. But forget about the hardware, the photos turned out fantastic. Although, my partner was pretty mad that I took more cake shots than a bakery had in store. If you can guess he’ll be editing this wedding. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone trigger happy =)
So here are a few details and a couple photos of the newlyweds from the weekend. Enjoy! Want to check out the final artwork. Keep an eye on my partner’s blog. From what I know all the photos he’s working on are going to come out remarkable..

Addicted to You More than Philly Cheese Steak!
Comments OffWhile most people took the holiday weekend off, Franny and I shot a few engagement sessions. We met up with a few friends to help us with our shoot. Our soon to be newlyweds were awesome. The bride to be was a schoolmate of mine from several years ago. You know two people are in love when both give the same funny faces when the other isn’t looking during a shot haha =) While shooting my last photo of the day, the two got really got into it. They may not have even notice that we had a crowd of ten tourists watching us…….
After a long day the scooby gang was pretty hungry. I kept hearing about a place called the Original Buffalo Wings all day. Everyone ended up joining us for dinner. Minus the toursits of course. By the time we finished dinner; we lost our sun, but decided to set a date for the next saga of our adventure. There is no way I will ever let a super cool amazing couple lose out on our next location =)

Surgical Love Muffins!
Comments OffWhat do you get when you get an extremely in love couple with two wacky photographers? One extremely fun engagement session and too many pictures to choose from. Last weekend, Francis and I took out our two love birds for part one of their engagement session. Yes, part one! We had so much fun, time flew by like lunch time. Although we did learned a valuable lesson this weekend. Never forget to bring a lot of coins for the out of the world parking meter prices in San Francisco.. We can’t wait for part two!
Click on any of the photos in this post for a quick showcase of the session.
Escaping The Usual Shootation!
Comments OffLast weekend my family and I rolled out around San Francisco, tour guiding our relatives from the Philippines. Even though I work primarily in the city and shoot a lot of sessions there, I never really get a chance for some simple fun shooting opportunities. I broke away from the normal routine and photographed some pretty cool stuff to have printed.
Yes, now I can hand some prints to my family as they’ve been bugging me for scenic views to place in their homes….. But that’s not all. I’m working on a few more and soon everyone can purchase some wall art to pin up. I’ll keep you posted.. Ping me if you’re interested…
Photo Art – Concoring The Park!
Comments OffSo the other week my friends and I took a Saturday off together and took my godson out to the park. Have you ever watch kids play at a park. They’re extremely lively. Kids know how to have fun. Josiah was no different, going straight for the slides. In the thirty minutes we spent at the park, he slid down those plastic shoots more than I can keep count. The sun even came out to play with us.
Tomorrow is our final Bridal Fair. Come check out our open gallery at the Hotel Sofetel in Redwood City.
Now that the Flicker team has finished our searsonal wedding marketing plan, its time to get back to some fun projects. I headed back to LA to do some shots for the second album cover of the I previously shot last summer. One thing is for sure, LA is not San Francisco. We got kicked out or question a few times during the 2 days we shot. It was actually pretty funny in the end.. All I have to say is: “Thank you college ID”… Sorry, I can’t tell you the name of the album. But I can tell you we’re shooting the final segment of the shoot at one of the coolests spots in Vegas…. Can’t wait til summer.. I am now taking casino donation.. haha j/p =)

Earlier this week my family welcomed a new member. On Monday my brother and sister in law (more of my sister in law than my brother), gave birth to Kiera Jay Sarah. Because I was extremely sick for the past two weeks I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures at the hospital, but that didn’t stop me today. Kiera was so peaceful as I took several pictures of her. How much more adorable can you get!

While I was away from the Bay Area and enjoying the extreme weather in Las Vegas, I got the chance to spend some time with one of my oldest buddies that I’ve known since the third grade. Seriously, feels good to have a close friend from that long ago. Even cooler than we were pen pals for years when she moved to Germany. I wanted to get a nice family photo of them for Christmas so I can send a gift to my buddy before she heads off to the Army. Here are a few shots from the small session. Her daughter was so cute and had a fun time taking photos with her stuff dog. Although I’m usually not a portrait type shooter, this was super fun shoot for me. Lets see if she’ll like her gift=)

The day after shooting in the rain, we headed out for a solo shoot with Uilani. Although the sky was partly cloudy, the sun was wide awake and beeming down some nice light for us to shoot with. As we headed into the woods and to the path of grandmothers house (j/p), we watch our steps as the rocks were super slippery. I thought it was a ironic how there was a sign to warn people about flash floods. I guess they get a lot of photographers there haha just kidding!

The past few months I’ve been taking a small break from photography to concentrate on my computer degree program which I will be finishing in the next two months. Although I haven’t completely paused my photography work. Let me share a with you a shoot of another soon to be alumni.
In two hours we shot at three different locations in San Francisco. We headed to close to the shores and around the Giants stadium for some fun photo shots.
We were having a good time just shooting away. And by the end of the day, I had a lot of photos to play with. Here’s a small slideshow of some of the artwork taken during the shoot.
