Last week had been one extremely busy one for me as I prepare the team for the Bridal Extravaganza, happening next weekend at the Walnut Creek Marriott. We needed to make some adjustments for the bigger booth space so the entire setup went to the ER for a somewhat new look. Come checkout the almost new design, albums, and products this coming weekend.

It’s my first post of the new decade and why not start with something totally different. One of my first projects of the year is to create a boudoir album of CC. We had an awesome time shooting, except for the fact that we felt like the location seemed completely haunted. But that’s a whole other story. Coolest thing ever is that CC is a fellow DJ too. And she’s a DJ with style. I’ll be post a slide show of the album once it’s completed. Until then, lets all enjoy this New Year!

After 3 months of a major blog break I am back from Maui and ready to post some artwork. I have to admit, I didn’t want to come back. I mean, it’s paradise out there. Shooting two days with the Sallee’s was awesome. Although the rain was pouring on us in Hana, we didn’t stop. Funny thing about the rain, it felt like taking a warm shower =)
Here is a set of Uilani and Luke. They were a great couple to shoot in Maui. Not only were they fun to hang out with, but I swear they’re like super stars on the island because we would pass by someone they know. A cool part about shooting a resident couple was getting into areas that tourist weren’t allowed in.
Before I head off to LA and Vegas I’ll be posting Part 2.

A few months back I posted an engagement session of a couple I called Crazy Love Addicts. About a week ago they had a beautiful beach wedding at Half Moon Bay. We spent an entire day with the love addicts and really enjoy hanging with them and their families.
Above is a few art pieaces from that day. You can also check out a slide show we presented to them earlier this week. Maybe I’ll post a few more later after I get a chance to give them their final images.

As spring break finally ended for me, I am going to miss all the fun I had hanging with a few cousins while on vacation. Here’s a few cool shots at a indoor car race track. One thing I learned while on the trip is that I really suck at playing pool =) And another important lesson, don’t leave your high end camera behind haha=)
Just some added pictures below. Yes that’s Disneyland alright. Can’t beat going to the happiest place on eart. I swear the funnest the rides are some of the oldest rides there.
DINNING HIGHLIGHTS: If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland, head to the Celebration Roundup and Barbecue at Big Thunder Ranch. We had a awesome all you can eat lunch. We came on the second day it was open so it wasn’t packed at all. Later that night we notice a huge line. No it wasn’t Indiana Jones Ride, but a chunk load of people waiting for the restaurant. BBQ was definately worth it, the show, and if you look below the awesome desert display…

As some of you may know I just came back from LA not to long ago. While I spent a great deal of time having fun with friends and family, hanging with my god daughter at Disneyland, and topping it off with some Chicken and Waffles. But I also had some photography business with a local rock band.
The Truth Unvailed is a local band in LA I shot for in a project for their album cover. I’m very universal in music and I really digged their music while having a awesome time with the band. I wanted to bring out a little grunge and some edgy look with these two photos, but I’ll also post some of the night shots later which was somewhat difficult for me since I seem to have left some important gear I normally use. But that will be another post…
I’ll also post more on my fun trip later. I’m going to start a new page on my blog called “My Before and After”. Just a cool page to show some of you how an image starts to my final product. I’ll give some feedback on how I edited the images.

As some of you may know my niece took a modeling course not too long ago. She decided to tryout for a local pagent which I believe is next month. To prepare some required material we setout to the California State Capital for some photo shots. During this small shoot I also added my other niece so they could have some sister pictures.
One thing I learned during this shoot is never to believe the weather in March haha=) This day started out with a gust of wind, then a rain storm, followed some hot sunny rays, some more rain, and then sun with rain. Overall it was a great day to shoot. I took about 900 photos that day and kept about 633 of them. Not bad. Editing the artwork was quick using a new toy I bought. Lets just say I love Quikeys=)
Here’s some more below. I’ll add a small slide show later!

Some of you may be wonder where have I’ve been. Well I must tell you that this has been the busiest off season I have ever had. Not only am I traveling around from one seminar to another, but I am also doing shoots in between. Some shoots that I don’t get to do to often, which is so cool. Hopefully I get a chance to share them with all of you.
Here’s a recent shoot of one of my clients. These art pieces where used on an artbook I created for her to use as a guestbook at her Cotillion, which we shot at yesterday. This shoot was extremely fun. The day started a little funny since the whole team took out their cameras and started shooting haha what a way to scare off our model for the day haha=) Of course it only took a minute or two for us to situated and we had a blast. Her Cotillion was just as awesome. I’ll post some shot later. In the meantime, enjoy the weekend!

Welcome everyone to a new year! After saying goodbye to 2008, I got the chance to work with Nam and Richelle at their second wedding. With one of the coldest weekends, it was a beautiful day with lots of sunlight. The lovebirds is a fun couple to shoot with. Not only did we have great time getting our portrait shots in before the sun went down, but we also got to try something new that really showed their personality. Hehehe but that’s something I’m saving for later. Richelle and Nam have a great humor that makes you feel happy. Even Brownstone Garden; where they had their wedding, said for them to come back anytime. So it looks like we may have a third wedding down the future haha=)
I’d though I’d try somthing different. A photographer friend of mine asked me if I still do black and white photos. But of course I do, although I tend to post mostly my colorfull images on my blog. So to break away from my normal routine, here is one of my black and white photo artwork. And for the other photographers reading this, the very bottom picture was taken using a video light at about 20watt being shot from the side as a spot light rather than a flood light. I’ll show you guys how I did this on my workshop that I’ve been working on. If you’re wonder what light I use please read my gear page. Until then enjoy!

I’m keeping it short. Here’s some snap shots I took with friends and family on Christmas. Enjoy the closed captions hehe=)
